A New Convert

OMG, what have I been missing all of these years!

I've always been a live specialist, with Internet play being a second best thing for me. Part of this is the limited ability to get personal reads on players, which I excel at. Of course, I did all of my Internet play with no supporting software, no HUD, just me and the computer.

This week, after a long, horrible run where I saw my online roll whither away to next-to-nothing, I bit the bullet, and got Poker Manager. Now I have a ton of tracking information and a workable HUD. I have been banging my head in disgust at myself ever since. Why didn't I do this sooner? Now I have clear reads on who is TAG preflop but passive postflop - who over-steal the blinds - who tends to overbet on the river or will call too many CBets with soft holdings.

And my online play has rocketed off as I have been able to use this information profitably in the games.

Sometimes I am just flat out stupid. Fortunately, I do get it right eventually. most of the time.

Gtta go, got some money to make at Poker Stars!
